King’s Church Wellington

Our Vision at King’s is to be a relevant life giving church, demonstrating God’s love in practical ways, bringing meaning and purpose to lives as we experience God together.

The Mission that Jesus gave to the church, was actually a co-mission. That is simply a mission that He said He would partner with. It is found in the book of Matthew Ch. 28 v.19 and then confirmed in the book of Mark Ch.16 v.15.

We like to paraphrase it slightly to read:
Go into everyone’s world and tell them the Good News of Jesus, making disciples as you go.

If we stick to God’s Vision and Jesus’ original Mission for us, we are promised that all sorts of amazing things will happen.
